Bravos River Flood Recovery Fundraiser
The flood waters from the Brazos River were relentless. Rowdy Girl Sanctuary slowly but surely took on water, and as water levels reached their peak, all animal habitats were underwater. Renee and Tommy’s house also took on several inches of flood water. As the water goes back down, final damages are being assessed. It is already clear the damage is devastating, and cleanup and rebuilding needs will be massive. Please consider donating to Rowdy Girl Sanctuary in our time of great need. No amount is too small and anything would be greatly appreciated. We will continue to update you on our progress!

Remaining Animals Brought to Safety By Task Force One and National Guard
As flood waters were rising and roads became impassible, the rest of the animals of Rowdy Girl Sanctuary were brought to safety by boat and military vehicles. The chickens, ducks and Rowdy dogs were carefully transported to the Brazoria County Fairgrounds where they are currently being cared for.
