From producing our product to giving back, kindness is the way It’s Jerky Y’all operates

Plant-based jerky brand It’s Jerky Y’all is the title sponsor for Rowdy Girl Sanctuary’s Vegan May Fest coming up on May 19, 2018, in Angleton, Texas. A day filled with vegan education, entertainment, food, and more, the event will feature keynote speakers Jane Velez-Mitchell, as well as Rowdy Girl Sanctuary Founder Renee King-Sonnen and husband Tommy and It’s Jerky Y’all spokesperson Kat Mendenhall.

“I’m just happy as I know how to be that Rowdy Girl Sanctuary is on the receiving end of such a passionate organization as All Y’alls Foods and their It’s Jerky Y’all.” Said Renee King-Sonnen “We’ve all been very excited as the launch of the company got closer and closer. And now, here it is! Partnering with “It’s Jerky Y’all” is the perfect fit because we used to raise livestock and sell them at auction, now we can enjoy the jerky without the cow!”

It’s Jerky Y’all got started when Native Texan Brett learned that beef was his great state’s most significant contribution to America’s stomachs. He set out to shift habits with a tastier, tender, 100% plant-based jerky made with zero animal involvement. Why plant-based jerky? Because plants deliver more protein with less impact on people, animals, and the planet. “The jerky business is a nearly 3 billion dollar industry — I thought it could use some kinder options,” Brett says. A portion of every sale goes to support Rowdy Girl Sanctuary.

“As a Texas vegan activist, it’s an honor to be a keynote speaker at the upcoming Vegan May Fest, May 19th at Rowdy Girl Sanctuary.” shares purveyor of vegan goods Kat Mendenhall. “There’s nothing more important to me than raising awareness and inspiring animal advocacy in my beloved Lone Star state. Built on trailblazers, Texas may be known as cattle country, but some savvy vegans are changing that perception like All Y’alls Foods. I’m thrilled for the opportunity to introduce them at May Fest as their official spokesperson. Texas is going vegan y’all!”

Most of all, Brett enjoys helping people understand they don’t need a cow to satisfy their craving for great jerky. All the protein in beef comes from the plant’s cows eat. “We cut out the middle critter because it’s better for every body,” he quips. “Head to Rowdy Girl Sanctuary’s Vegan May Fest to try our first 3 Texas-inspired It’s Jerky Y’all flavors: Black Pepper & Sea Salt, Prickly Pear Teriyaki, and Prickly Pear Chipotle.” It’s Jerky Y’all is proud to be a GO-TEXAN product, a program that celebrates Lone Star pride.

It’s Jerky Y’all is a certified non-GMO whole soybean product that is also Kosher and gluten-free and made in a level two certified Gluten Free & Kosher facility. Soy delivers ALL 9 proteins people need plus fiber, vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, and phytochemicals. Plant-based snacks help people skip saturated fats, cholesterol, hormones, antibiotics, or other issues associated with animal protein.

If you happen to be stuck in North Texas that weekend, It’s Jerky Y’all will be offering samples and selling bags of their amazing jerky in Grapevine Texas at the Main Street Festival the 18th, 19th, and 20th from 10-7.
