Herman’s Story
Herman was an 11-year-old pot-bellied pig who came to Rowdy Girl Sanctuary from a high-kill shelter. He was abandoned when his owner passed away, and the family members never came to pick him up. The sanctuary wasn’t sure how they would be able to adopt him, as they were not fully operational yet and had no real cash flow. However, when friends on Facebook learned about Herman, they rallied around a GoFundMe campaign that raised $3,500 in just a few days, allowing Herman to come home.
Herman had trust issues and was pretty cranky, so he required a lot of TLC.
