Leo’s Story
Leo’s story begins when he was chosen to be the “project” of a special FFA senior. The student’s mother soon fell head over heels in love with Leo. She was absolutely devastated when she learned that her son’s animal, Leo, might have to go to slaughter. She never expected to form such a deep bond with this sweet lamb. She expressed that during her time with Leo, she rediscovered herself, finding joy and being her true self in his presence. When she brought Leo to Rowdy Girl Sanctuary, with her son by her side, she was in tears, overwhelmed by the unexpected love she had developed for him.
Thanks to their loving decision, Leo now resides at Rowdy Girl Sanctuary. He is happy and thriving with his sheep friend, Demarcus.
