Panda’s Story
Panda is the cow that used to scare the daylights out of the sanctuary’s founder Renee because of her horns. In fact, when she first moved to the ranch, Renee thought Panda was a bull, not knowing that female cows could have horns. Living on the ranch has been a learning experience in many ways. Despite her intimidating appearance, Panda is actually the most docile and loving mother. She’s the daughter of a cow named Grey, whom Tommy bought at auction. Grey mysteriously disappeared one day, and despite searching, Tommy was never able to find her. Her disappearance remains a mystery to this day.
Panda has never known any place but the ranch, but over the years, she has had many of her babies taken away from her. Tommy mentioned that Panda was the smallest calf he had ever seen when she was born. Panda is a great cow, and now, she will never have to lose another baby. She is finally at her forever home.
