Sugar & Marmalade’s Story
Sugar & Marmalade come to us all the way from Odessa TX – they drove 8 hours to get to us! These babies were in dire straits and in a situation that was about to leave them stranded or worse yet eaten—as Sugar, the big white boer goat is considered a “meat goat”. It’s so hard to fathom that anyone would be so violent to these docile creatures-
I’m grateful to Doug and Stephanie for never giving up on these two! The small goat, Marmalade is the adopted momma of Sugar. Marmalade actually lost all her babies a couple years ago and accepted Sugar as her own.
Marmalade crossed over the rainbow bridge in August 2024. She will be missed.
