This rowdy girl has been on the move. My red vegan cowboy boots were made for walkin’ and that’s just what they’ve been doing. From Washington, DC for the AVA Summit to San Francisco, New York City and Los Angeles to spread the message of compassion for farmed animals.

Rowdy is the word for 2024 so far! I have exciting highlights from Q1 to share with you. Before I get into it, I want you to know that nothing you are about to read would be possible without your support. Whether you subscribe to our emails, contribute, eat plants, call your legislators or volunteer, you are a partner in our mission. Thank you.
Dispatch from the Ranch Vol. 5
To say we are feeling grateful about reaching our year-end campaign goal to raise $75,000 is an understatement. The $75,000 match has been unlocked (yes, we really did have to raise it from y’all to unlock it), and we are in the process of building out some long-awaited infrastructure here at the sanctuary.
Dispatch from the Ranch Vol. 4
I have just returned from the AVA Summit (Animal Vegan Advocacy) in Los Angeles where I gave a talk entitled “Christian Vegan Advocacy” which generated tons of buzz. The AVA Summit is the flagship conference for the animal and vegan advocacy movement.
Dispatch from the Ranch Vol. 3
Renee and Tommy just spent seven days in Toronto for the world premiere of Rowdy Girl at Hot Docs which is part of the famed Toronto Film Festival. They met fellow activists like Anita Krajnc of Animal Save Movement, Jo-Anne McArthur, founder of We Animals Media, and attendees from around the world. They were on two stages with audiences of almost 400 in attendance.

Happy New Year to our Rowdy Girl Sanctuary supporters and subscribers! 2022 was a monumental year of growth and triumph after years prior of weather disasters, relocation and Covid. With you by our side we are thriving. Speaking of thriving, the Time To Thrive Campaign was a resounding success with more than $100,000 raised for Phase I of the long-awaited Medical Treatment Facility in honor of our beloved Maine Anjou heifer Stormy.
Dispatch from the Ranch Vol. 1
Autumn has begun and the animals are excited about all the pumpkin treats they are getting. And, we are excited to share this newsletter with you, our valued members and subscribers. What you’ll read about here is possible because you’re part of the herd. So a big rowdy thanks to you!
