Donate Securities
You can make a meaningful impact for Rowdy Girl Sanctuary by donating publicly traded securities, such as stocks, bonds, or mutual funds, that you’ve owned for at least one year. This type of gift may allow you to avoid capital gains taxes on appreciated assets while also providing a potential income tax deduction. Simply transfer your securities directly to Rowdy Girl Sanctuary, either as an outright gift or as part of a plan that provides you with income for life, and your generosity will help sustain our mission for years to come.
Donate Retirement Assets
In 2025, if you’re age 70½ or older, you can make a tax-free gift of up to $108,000 directly from your IRA to Rowdy Girl Sanctuary through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD). This transfer must go straight from your IRA custodian to the sanctuary, and if you’re 73 or older, it can also count toward your Required Minimum Distribution without increasing your taxable income. To give, simply contact your IRA custodian, provide our legal name, EIN, and mailing address, and request the gift be marked as a QCD for the 2025 tax year by December 31, 2025.
