Cami Jo’s Story

Cami Jo is a stunning quarter horse who joined us before Rowdy Girl Sanctuary officially began. She arrived with her mother, Rosie, when she was just two years old. Sadly, Rosie passed away while the sanctuary was located in Angleton, leaving Cami Jo heartbroken. In time, she found solace in her deep bond with Lemuria, and the two have been inseparable ever since. Although founder Renee used to ride her before becoming vegan, Cami Jo now enjoys the freedom to simply be a horse. It’s a beautiful sight to watch her run alongside Lemuria, her mane flowing in the wind. Cami Jo is truly special, and her spirit has even been honored with a 3rd-level Reiki initiation.
